KovsieX is the official student radio station of the University of Free State in Bloemfontein. It used to broadcast within a 80km radius of the city, but has now shifted to an online-only model.
It is Bloemfontein’s main youth community radio station, keeping listeners entertained through popular local and global music while also providing relevant information to educate and inform. The station broadcasts in English, Afrikaans, and Sesotho. Its team of presenters and content creators is comprised of students performing radio training.
KovsieX prides itself as a trendsetter among students and youths across Bloemfontein and surrounding towns.
