River FM 87.6 is a campus-based station catering to the student population of the North-West University‘s Vaal Campus and the surrounding areas in Vanderbijlpark. It transmits local and international entertainment content geared at the students.
River FM is one of the three stations belonging to the university. The other two stations are NWU FM and PUK FM. All three of the North-West University’s campus stations offer a vibrant and interactive platform through which aspiring student broadcasters can gain experience and acquire critical skills through structured programmes relating to radio broadcasting.
