MFM 92.6 is an independent radio station, situated on the campus of the Stellenbosch University (SU). The station broadcasts in Afrikaans, English and Xhosa and covers Stellenbosch. The station aims to cater to a young audience, particularly university students, by offering a line-up comprised of various music shows with the best hits of the moment from well-known and less-known artists.
It has been broadcasting from the Stellenbosch University campus since 1995. The station also has an impressive list of Alumni who have gone onto work for popular national stations and in television.
